QPAI Group

Quantum computing, AI systems, and physics research at MIT. Led by Prof. Dirk Englund, Dr. Ryan Hamerly, and Dr. Matthew Trusheim.

About QPAI Group

The QPAI Group at MIT's Research Laboratory of Electronics works to understand the fundamental limits (given by quantum theory, math, etc.) of "the possible", through theory and experiment. In some cases, this just helps us understand the world better; in other cases, it helps us move "the impossible" to the "practical." The tools of the trade include quantum information science, machine learning, computer science, and experiments in semiconductor devices and atomic, molecular, optical (AMO) physics.
